SIEVEMK Gateway is funded through a variety of sources. We are very grateful to our founder organisation, Holding Forth the Word Ministry, a Christian charity based in Milton Keynes, for the vision and support especially in the first five years of what was then a Community Development Project.
Since becoming a charity in 2012, the support for the vision has widened, and we are incredibly grateful for the support we are afforded by all our funding partners – corporate and individuals.
Any support from our corporate and individual partners and funders is vital in helping us to deliver our mandate of “Creating opportunities and Changing lives” of young people and families in our communities.
We support families in the areas of their children’s engagement with schooling and learning, and help them to gain the confidence they need to motivate them for top level achievement. We continue to tackle women unemployment amongst the most disadvantaged and hard to reach members of our communities. Our life-changing work wouldn’t be possible without the support of our partners, sponsors, and funders.

We need to raise over £50,000 this year to enable us relocate our operations to a new site as our current location is due for a major redevelopment; and we need funds to support our other projects – SchoolsMK, and BursaryProject.
We also need to purchase some ICT equipment which will help us to continue to deliver our current services to the most deprived and vulnerable people in Milton Keynes.
Why not join us in creating a future worth hoping for, for hundreds of young people, women and families. You can be rest assured that your hard work and contributions are making significant differences in someone’s life in this city.
We will continue together to deliver our mandate of ” Creating Opportunities- Delivering Excellence- Changing Lives”
At SIEVEMK Gateway we see volunteering as real ‘opportunity’ to positvely enrich the lives of our learners. It is an opportunity for learners to spend time with people other than staff who can help them develop and grow.
It is also an opportunity for volunteers to meet the young people, women and families we work with and help them attain their goals and dreams.
Volunteering at SIEVEK is an opportunity for individuals and/or corporate teams to connect with their local community and make a positive impact in it.
Whatever your skills or passions, you can get involved!
