SIEVEMK Alternative Provision (SAP)
The SIEVEMK Alternative Provision (SAP) is targeted at Key Stage 4 (KS4) pupils in Years 10 and 11 who find it difficult to remain in mainstream education, and/or on the verge of expulsion from their school. Our SAP initiative is geared to providing a specialised, focused, and holistic approach to learner progression; focusing equally on social, educational and behavioural development alongside academic achievement.
We work with our bursary foundation partners to place some of these pupils in state or independent boarding schools.
SAP will also deliver high quality vocational training, personal development, and work-based learning to keep young people engaged with education and prepare them for future apprenticeship or employment opportunities.
In addition to the above, students who are referred for the full-time provision also follow a core curriculum of GCSE Maths and iGCSE English, or Functional Skills and Level 2 ICT.
